Paul has over 19 years of experience in the energy sector focused on coal, oil, natural gas and timber management and securing capital for these businesses.
Paul joined Bridgelink Engineering in 2019 and has been involved with the development of major projects in the U.S.
He currently serves as COO for Bridgelink and oversees operational aspects of the company.
He has held various engineering, operational management and business development positions at the surface and underground longwall mining operations at Murray Energy Corporation, the largest underground coal mining company in the United States, and Regency Energy Partners, L.P. (“RGP”), a publicly-traded Master Limited Partnership now owned by Energy Transfer (NYSE: ET), one of the largest and most diversified energy companies in the United States.
Paul holds a BS in Engineering from Penn State University.
Preston has over 20 years of experience in the infrastructure, transportation, and energy sectors serving in multiple corporate finance roles including mergers and acquisitions, treasury and capital markets, and investor relations.
From 2011 to 2020, he served in several leadership positions for Trinity Industries (NYSE: TRN), a publicly-traded company, managing over $1 billion in secured and unsecured financing transactions, $700 million in acquisitions within the transmission and distribution, renewable energy, and transportation sectors, and financial communication efforts to banking and institutional investors for multiple strategic transactions including a $2 billion spin-off of portfolio of businesses.
Prior to that, he served in an advisory role for a small consulting and investment advisory firm providing post- issuance bond compliance and interest rate swap advisory services.
Preston graduated with a BBA in Finance and Risk Management & Insurance from Baylor University.
Eric began his career at UBS Investment Bank, where he gained 5+ years of experience as an M&A investment banker. He joined UBS as a Summer Analyst in its Latin America Group in New York before pivoting to the firm’s M&A Group in a full-time capacity.
During his time at UBS, Eric led many strategic initiatives, including spending a year in the bank’s Global Power & Renewable Energy Group to build in-house M&A execution capability within the team, and accepting a mandate to relocate to London to help establish the firm’s Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) M&A team.
Eric has advised on over $100 billion of M&A transactions, including advising a shareholder in connection with the £79 billion merger of Anheuser-Busch InBev and SABMiller, advising Ormat Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ORA) on its $162 million agreement with Northleaf Capital Partners to sell a 37% interest in a geothermal power plant portfolio valued at $442 million, advising Infigen Energy (ASX: IFN) on its $273 million sale of a 1,089 MW US wind portfolio to ArcLight Capital Partners, and advising Dominion Resources (NYSE: D) on its $1.5 billion midstream JV with Caiman Energy II, LLC in the Utica shale.
Prior to joining Bridgelink, Eric led a five-month consulting engagement advising the C-suite of Array Technologies, an Oaktree Capital-backed solar tracking provider, on its strategic expansion into Brazil, in parallel with Array’s $1 billion NASDAQ IPO.
Eric graduated from the Plan II Honors Program at the University of Texas at Austin and earned a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he was awarded a Dean’s Scholar Prize in Cross Border M&A. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
Michael Costanzi joined Bridgelink Investments in June 2021 as the Chief Security Officer (CSO) with program oversight of Information Technology, Physical and Cyber Security.
In February 2022, Mr. Costanzi became the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) expanding his management responsibilities to include all corporate shared services. In additional to IT, Physical and Cyber Security, he manages the Human Resources, Marketing, Governmental Affairs, Fleet, Facilities, and Records Management programs for all Bridgelink companies.
Before joining Bridgelink Engineering, Mr. Costanzi was the Corporate Security and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Manager at Hilltop Holdings, Dallas, TX.
Mr. Costanzi spent 23 years as a Special Agent with the FBI and retire as the Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Dallas Field Office. In his capacity with the FBI, Mr. Costanzi lead more than 120 Agents and Intelligence Analyst tasked with investigating White-Collar Crime, Crimes Against Children, Human Trafficking, and Cyber intrusion investigations.
Mr. Costanzi also served nine years in the US Air Force and rose to the rank of Captain during which time he participated in Desert Storm. He is married and the father of three young gentlemen.
Mr. Whittet has more than 30 years of experience, domestically and internationally, in the EPC power industry overseeing various project management/construction operations activities using union and non-union labor.
His broad corporate responsibilities not only include developing project execution plans, labor strategy, process flow charts, procedures and training, continuous improvement (using Six Sigma principles), SAP conversion, site security & badging, but also budgets and proposals for government projects and commercial business units.
His extensive experience in the construction and engineering fields has provided him with the ability to develop and supervise groups involved in a variety of complex support validation and liaison activities.
Chris currently serves as Senior Vice President of Engineering Procurement and Construction for Bridgelink Engineering and oversees all aspects of BE’s Project Management Organizations (PMO), engineering, and project execution.
He is a proven utility industry leader with extensive experience in strategic planning engineering, construction, commissioning and operations, of large-scale utility-scale renewable projects. Chris has expertise in means and methods of utility EPC construction including, planning, constructability, development, engineering, phasing, contract management.
He started his career with Southern California Edison and has served as Senior Manager of Wind construction for Sempra, Director of construction for SunPower Renewables and Vice president of EPC for CPS program for OCI Solar Power. Chris is committed to low coast renewable energy.
Chris is a graduate of San Diego State University with a BS in Civil Engineering with an MBA, PM from the University of Southern California. He holds a professional engineering license, PMP, and CCM certifications.
Clay Johnson has over a decade of experience in the energy industry. His impressive career includes working for several well-known large EPC companies and negotiating projects ranging from 100MM – 20MM.
As Vice President of Business Development for Bridgelink Engineering, Clay is passionate about setting goals for company growth, developing relationships, and assuring client satisfaction. He is known for his strong communication skills and amiable personality.
